Our Mission: To stimulate the economic vitality and enhance the diverse mix of Burlington’s Old North End arts and business community.

We feel a strong connection to the North End and are taking efforts to promote our unique blend of art, commerce, and entrepreneurial sprit. We recognize the importance of the North End as a presence in Burlington, and are taking efforts to support the vitality and sustainability of our community.
To fulfill this mission several objectives have been identified that we adhere to and provide for the North End community. These include:

promoting voluntarism
building arts management capacity
gathering and disseminating pertinent information
advocating for closer ties between business and the arts
informing our members of issues that affect our community and actions we take on its behalf

We want our organization to become an influential voice for our members and the community; to address, support and ensure their common interests. Through our actions and initiatives we hope to transform the public perception of the Old North End.
In order to be successful, ONE Arts & Business is taking advantage of mentoring opportunities with a number of existing arts and business organizations. The City of Burlington’s Community and Economic Development Office (CEDO), the South End Arts and Business Association (SEABA), and the Burlington Business Association (BBA) are just a few of the partners that we have been working with. Joining forces with existing organizations is a natural fit to capitalize on the synergies between all areas of Burlington. Utilizing the existing resources of various organizations will help launch our fledgling project, and create a stronger relationship between the Old North End and the rest of the Burlington business and art community.
